Our crew is called Estrela d’Alva Tours.

We are a tourist entertainment company based in one of the most exciting cities in the world, Lisbon.

A few years ago we came up with the idea:

“…let´s make street art tours using one of our minivans to go around the city so that we can show to visitors its most SPECTACULAR street art murals?!!!”

Nobody was doing it, so… we did it :)))

2. WHEN DID YOU DO IT?

In 2014. It was the beginning of The Real Lisbon Street Art Tour.

3. WHY DID YOU DO IT?

Because it’s in our DNA. We had the idea and released The Real Lisbon Street Art Tour right in the middle of the conference :=O

For three days we sat at a desk, in the space reserved for the coffee break, watching the ships go by. Almost nobody showed interest in our proposal. Until the last day, one of the participants came up to us and said “Hi mate, my name is Rachel and I would love to have The Real Lisbon Street Art Tour.”

Since then we have not stopped. In 7 years, The Real Lisbon Street Art Tour has been around the world once and shown hundreds of murals to thousands of travelers.

Pioneers in performing street art tours by minivan in Portugal, we are a reference in the national and international media.

Estrela d’Alva Tours acts autonomously, without any link or obligation to artists or organizations. However, it does not restrain itself from making projects, workshops or any other type of intervention working with artists. Any commercial connection between the tour, the visited mural, the artist or any other entity is excluded by a question of ethics and professionalism. The choice of a particular mural, its contextualization and the value judgment expressed by our guide is independent and our responsibility.
